Andrew D. Goldman, Esq. has been working as a General Counsel for small businesses and nonprofits for the past 12 years.
Immediately after law school, he was appointed General Counsel of a 25 employee IT consulting company. Since then, he has made his career serving as General Counsel, along with other C-level positions for small businesses, culminating in the creation of a government management consulting company. After 6 years as COO and General Counsel, Mr. Goldman decided to return to his own passion for helping small business and not-for-profit visionaries to achieve their goals and dreams.
Mr. Goldman has been very active in his community as well. After helping establish organizations, structures, and obtain 501(c)(3) status for his own musical organization, he gained a reputation of competency in nonprofit and not-for-profit law, helping three more musical organizations and two sports organizations with their strategic and organizational legal needs.
Owing to his in-house and C-level experience, Mr. Goldman is able to see legal issues from both a lawyer’s and business manager’s perspective. Applying business acumen, he approaches most legal situations as problem solving; looking for creative solutions that allow companies to pursue their strategic initiatives, rather than stopping or delaying them for legal reasons.
Mr. Goldman has his B.S. in Business Management/Marketing from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce and his J.D. from the George Mason University School of Law. He is a Member of the Virginia State Bar.
